General Hospital Spoilers: Jason’s Return Changes Everything This July

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that fans will soon learn more about Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) time away.

Jason’s return is just around the corner, so let’s talk about what’ll happen when he’s finally on-screen again.

GH fans will recall that Jason was hauled off by the WSB back in March. Jason couldn’t let Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) go down for shooting Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), so he took the blame instead.

Now Jason is set to make his long-awaited return on July 13, which is when GH will air their 16,000th episode.

It’s fitting that Jason will be back for this special occasion since many fans consider Steve Burton such an important part of the show.

According to Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), Jason has been stuck at a Jakarta black site and has no doubt been living under incredibly harsh conditions.

Due to everything Jason’s endured as a WSB prisoner, he won’t come back the same man he was before.

Summer preview spoilers indicate that Jason’s perspective will totally change following his horrible ordeal.

This will really shake up Jason’s world and force him to choose what he wants the rest of his life to look like.

Jason’s priorities are going to shift as he heads down this fresh path.

It sounds like we’ll see a brand-new Jason Morgan as he navigates this post-imprisonment period and tries to figure out what’s next.

Of course, Jason will reunite with plenty of familiar faces once he’s back in Port Charles.

The choices that Jason’s about to make will affect Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and many more.

However, it’s Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) who’ll perhaps be the most affected by Jason’s new point of view.

Will Jason officially decide to get out of the mob?

That’s a possibility if Jason’s ready to make the most of his life and avoid more dangerous situations that could take him away from his loved ones.

That said, we know Sonny will make some power plays in the months ahead, which will leave him wanting Jason and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) to establish some peace with each other.

It’s possible Jason will still work for Sonny in a less dangerous capacity since he’ll be involved in Sonny and Ric’s storyline.

Jason will also steer Danny toward taking a more peaceful approach with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

Plus, Rocco will get some encouragement from Jason, who’ll want Rocco to embrace a fresh start of his own.

After Jason is cleared in Cullum’s shooting, Rocco will have to answer for his actions that night.

That said, Rocco will ultimately have a chance to put this nightmare to rest, so that’s what Jason will push him to do.

General Hospital spoilers say Steve Burton’s comeback will bring some great drama starting July 13, so stay tuned for all the exciting news and emotional moments.
