Queen Camilla seemed to have blurred the lines between humour to offensive attack in a shocking remark about Kate Middleton health.
Princess Kate has been a beloved member of the family following her marriage to Prince William in 2011, but her popularity has grown overtime, especially after the cancer battle.
The public has shown an outpouring of love and sympathy for the Princess of Wales during her health battle and she continues to hold a strong position in the public.
Hence, despite the simmering dislike between the two royal women, it comes as a surprise that Camilla would take a joke too far, especially given the fact that her husband, King Charles, himself is undergoing cancer treatment.
According to royal biographer Robert Jobson, Camilla has been a “steady force” for her husband during his health battle and has lightening up the mood with her humour.
Although, her humour seemed to have entered an unsavoury territory when she joked about Kate’s cancer treatment video, a royal household source revealed.
During a conversation with her friends, Camilla said that the video message was “shampoo commercial” in which she revealed that she had completed her treatment.
Jobson stated that Camilla has a “warm and humorous approach to life” but “occasionally” her sense of humour “strays into slightly questionable territory.
