Young And The Restless Scoop September 23: Adam Punches Billy – Phyllis Steps In – Victoria Pitches Her Compromise

Also coming up, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will confide in Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck). Plus, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will lean on Summer Newman (Allison Lanier). And Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will catch up with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).

Y&R spoilers tease Audra will tell Sally she needs to completely cut Adam out of her life. “You just act like you don’t care and soon, it becomes a reality.” But Sally will say she’s afraid if she shuts her feelings down she’ll never fall in love again. “I consider that a blessing,” Audra will reply. “The ability not to care is the best weapon you can have.”

Audra will add that revenge against Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) was sweet and satisfying. “And Kyle Abbott is next. Once I’m through with him, he will never forget.” So, Sally will ask what her next move will be. “To get him booted out of the company.”

At the GCAC, Victoria will tell Cole she came up with a plan to help Billy. But Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) shut her down. So, Cole will ask if she’s considering telling Billy. “If I tell Billy, who knows how he’ll react?” she’ll reply. “I’m just trying to maintain stability for my kids.”

She’ll say he needs to know what’s coming and his best move is to protect himself.  Cole will say she needs to be prepared for the fallout. And Victoria will say she knows Victor’s going to go ballistic. But she’s got to warn Billy.

Speaking of Billy, he’ll get in Adam’s face and demand to know what he did to Chelsea. “You forfeited that role as protector-in-chief when you turned your back on her,” Adam will tell him. As Adam turns to walk away, Billy will grab him. And Adam will haul back and punch him. Billy will fall into a table but get back up and go at Adam.

“Go ahead and take a swing, go ahead,” Adam will tell him. “I know how much you’ve wanted to since you found out about me and Chelsea.” But Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will beg Billy not to. “You’re not worth it and you know it,” Billy will say to Adam, as he lets go of his collar.

Meanwhile, a panicked Chelsea will rush into Crimson Lights and Summer will ask if she’s okay. She’ll say she’s just running away from her feelings. Summer will offer to be  friendly ear and she’ll take her up on it. “My life has been one stupid mistake after the next,” Chelsea will say. “Billy and I broke up and it’s all my fault.”

But before she gets to confide too much more, Adam will walk in and ask to speak with Chelsea alone. After Summer leaves, Adam will apologize for making her uncomfortable. “Adam listen to me, this is not happening, so please, just let it go,” Chelsea will reply and storm off.

At Abbott-Chancellor, Billy will tell Phyllis he would have thrown Adam through the window if she hadn’t stepped in. “You cannot push Adam, he is so vindictive,” she’ll reply. Talk will turn to Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) betrayal and Phyllis will ask what they do. “Whatever we need to do to outbid Victor, that’s what we do,” Billy will reply.

Then Victoria will walk in and ask Billy what happened. He’ll say his face met Adam’s fist. She’ll turn and look at Phyllis, who’ll tell her she’s the new COO. Then Victoria will say she needs to speak to Billy alone. “I have a proposition for you, one that I hope might lead to a peacekeeping mission.”

She’ll say her father’s going to make a move against Abbott-Chancellor and she has a compromise solution. “It’s a solid generous offer to buy Abbott-Chancellor from you.” So, he’ll ask if she’s there to sabotage the deal he’s about to put together. “What makes you think that I’m automatically going to lose to your father?”

Finally, Victoria will leave and Phyllis will ask what happened. Billy will tell her Victoria offered to buy him out. She’ll ask if he’s considering it, if the price is right. But he’ll say there’s no way. “He’s gonna regret the day that he came after me.” “That is the Billy that I wanna work with,” Phyllis will reply. “I swear to you Billy that I am all in.”
