Tommy has been through several ups and downs over the years. One of his toughest challenges came in 2019 when he injured himself in a crazy accident. In July 2019, the Swamp People star was in an accident that included explosives. He severely injured his right hand, lost parts of his fingers, and underwent multiple surgeries. He also damaged his chest, eardrums, and eyes and looked to be in a rough shape. Tommy was still at risk of losing his arm in the summer of 2019. He was accepting donations via his GoFundMe page, where he had shared uncensored photos of his injuries.

Tommy was very popular during his time on Swamp People. However, he has gone silent on social media and doesn’t use it as much as he used to. The former Swamp People star doesn’t appear to have a public Instagram profile. There is a private account under his name, but it’s hard to tell if it belongs to him. Tommy has two Facebook profiles. He has a fan account with nearly 600 followers, where most of his photos are from the early 2010s. Similarly, Tommy has a Facebook page where he has posted some new pictures of himself and his dog, Butch.

Unfortunately, Tommy hasn’t capitalized on his reality TV fame. However, he looks happier than ever and has seemingly recovered from his injury. In mid-2023, Tommy posted an update on Facebook that revealed his mindset. He wrote, “I love my life,” and was clearly happy to be alive. It seems the accident has allowed Tommy to see his life from a new lens, and is grateful for the present. Tommy hasn’t shared any updates on his ongoing relationship. However, he has posted some interesting quotes suggesting he’s single after his breakup. Tommy from Swamp People hasn’t been active on social media since late 2023.
