The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, April 8, reveal that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will want payback while Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) sends out an SOS. Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) homecoming is on the way as well, so let’s talk about what’s ahead in Genoa City.

For starters, Phyllis and Sharon will continue to mull over Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) latest clue about their kidnapper. The device that controlled the gas expulsion was purchased through an account tied to a psychiatric clinic in Paris.

Since Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) picked up on Chance’s reaction to Alan Laurent’s (Christopher Cousins) name coming up in the conversation, he senses that Chance could be holding back other Alan-related info.

Sharon and Phyllis may not be completely sold on Alan’s guilt in Tuesday’s episode, but they’ll want him to pay if he’s indeed involved. Phyllis and Sharon will agree that no matter who’s behind their captivity nightmare, they need to be exposed and punished for it.

Sharon may agree with Phyllis’ suggestion about delaying the London trip, especially since the investigation is really picking up steam now. Phyllis and Sharon will deepen their alliance later during the week of April 7-11, so they’ll be on the same page about their pursuit of justice.

In the meantime, Y&R spoilers say Ashley will make a GC comeback and get updates on some shocking news once she lands.

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will take Ashley to the jazz lounge, where he’ll stun her with questions about the possibility of an Alan and Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins) swap.

While Jack quizzes Ashley on her thoughts and shares all the evidence that’s piled up, Traci will send out an SOS. Perhaps Traci will manage to sneak a call to Jack after “Alan” returns from Paris and shows up in her suite.

Whatever the case, Jack will remain concerned about Traci’s safety – and Ashley will ultimately join her brother in worrying about the threat “Alan” aka Martin could pose. It’ll take some convincing, but Ashley will agree there are reasons to fear Martin is the surviving twin.
