The Wildest Potential Heather Plot Twist Yet on Young and Restless

Could Lucy create the wrong theory on Y&R? Maybe…

We’re not sure yet that Sharon is actually the one who killed Heather on The Young and the Restless. But Sharon is sure that she’s the one who actually killed Heather. Daniel and Lucy don’t yet know that Heather is dead since Sharon texted them from Heather’s phone on the September 30 episode. But they’re already suspicious. What if Lucy, as Lucy is wont to do, goes off half-cocked and starts snooping…and the conclusion she draws is wildly logical…and wildly wrong?

See the World as It Could Be

Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) has been living in Lucy La-La Land ever since she decided that Faith (Reylynn Caster) actually really does want to be her friend — but it’s evil Sharon (Sharon Case) who is standing in her way. We don’t know whether Lucy is a little in love with Faith or if she’s so insecure that she sees Faith as the solution to all her problems. It doesn’t matter in the long run. She’s obsessed. And as a result, she won’t let reality get in the way of her fantasies.

Two and Two Make Seventeen

What if Lucy starts investigating her mom’s disappearance? She breaks into Sharon’s house and finds Heather’s (Vail Bloom) missing cell phone. But what if Sharon stashed it among Faith’s things, so it won’t be found in hers (and nobody has any reason to search Faith’s stuff)?

Lucy will jump to the conclusion that Faith killed Heather. It makes perfect sense. It wasn’t just Sharon keeping Faith and Lucy apart. It was Heather, too. Faith couldn’t stand it, so she killed Lucy’s mom!

Hidden Figures

Now that Lucy knows how much Faith wants to be her friend, she can’t let her be caught for Heather’s murder. So Lucy covers up for Faith and pins the murder on someone else…um…um…it can’t be Sharon because that might make Faith too upset to hang out with Lucy. The same goes for Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes).

But what about Tessa (Cait Fairbanks)? She’s only Faith’s sister-in-law, so Faith can’t mind it too terribly. She’ll probably be happy the heat is off her. Tessa will go to jail, and Faith will be free to become Lucy’s bestie. A win-win for everybody!
