Princess Eugenie warned of big bombshell: ‘Stay one step ahead’
Princess Eugenie received a serious warning as the negative impact of her father, Andrew, and mother, Sarah Ferguson, ‘s scandals might spoil the image of a project close to her heart.
The Princess of York is a co-founder of The Anti-Slavery Collective, aiming to eradicate modern slavery and stop forced work in business supply chains.
Since the Virginia Guiffre’s sexual assault allegations against Andrew and his latest exit from the royal family, questions have been raised about the future of his daughters.
Discussing Eugenie’s meaningful initiative, PR expert Mayah Riaz gave advice to the Princess to stay one step ahead by showcasing the credibility of her charitable work.
As per the Mirror, she said, “When a public figure’s family becomes embroiled in controversy, it inevitably casts a shadow over any cause they’re attached to.”
“In Princess Eugenie’s case, her parents’ ongoing scandals place the Anti-Slavery Collective in a difficult position,” the expert said.
Eugenie is urged to send a clear message to her supporters in the anti-slavery movement that her work and values stand firmly independent of any family drama.
“The charity will need to stay one step ahead. I would advise they define their own story; otherwise, the story will define them, which won’t be about ending human trafficking, it’ll be about the seemingly never-ending royal scandal,” Mayah said.
