Parker Schnabel Gives Us A House Tour After Mining Gold | Gold Rush
Parker Schnabel, one of the most famous young gold miners on television, has shared his latest challenges and achievements, from tough gold mining operations to owning his first home.
Challenges at the Mine
Recently, Schnabel’s main D11 bulldozer suffered a severe malfunction while working at the “Money Pit,” a gold mining site. The issue occurred when the bulldozer was unable to operate due to a hydraulic malfunction, causing it to get stuck in the mud.
Creative Solutions
Under the guidance of mechanic Jordan, Schnabel’s team sought a solution by using a replacement cylinder from an older model. Through persistent efforts, they successfully replaced the part and restored the bulldozer’s operation, reducing downtime to about five hours.
Significant Progress in Gold Mining
After the incident, Parker’s team quickly returned to work and, after six days of non-stop effort, reached the gold-bearing soil layer. This not only brought hope for a lucrative gold season but also reflected the team’s perseverance and expertise in mining operations.
Transitioning to a New Chapter: A New Home
Parker also shared about a major turning point in his personal life – buying his first home after living in a trailer for ten years. The new home, which he calls Dominion, was celebrated with a cozy housewarming party. However, he also expressed some discomfort and minor concerns about the home’s design, especially the carpet around the toilet.
