General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that we have to ask: Is a Spencer Cassadine (last played by Nicholas Alexander Chavez) recast brewing? Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) love life could pivot in a big way if Spencer comes back into the picture, so we should consider that possibility.
After Spencer’s presumed demise, Trina was absolutely devastated.
It was tough for Trina to let go of Spencer, but she eventually moved on with Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) and tried to find happiness again.
Of course, that plan hit a snag thanks to Kai’s betrayal, but now Trina’s got a different problem since she’s tangled up in all this criminal chaos with him.

This could open the door for a different contract player instead – one who could be quite crucial to Trina’s path forward.
At this point, there’s no firm proof that Spencer is deceased.
Even if there was evidence, it wouldn’t be enough to dampen many fans’ hopes of Spencer’s return in some form.
If Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) can make miraculous comebacks, then Spencer can do the same.
Spencer and Trina’s love story feels unfinished since the writers always played them up like soulmates who were destined to be together.
Trina just doesn’t have the same powerful bond with Kai that she had with Spencer.
