Steffy has had her hands full confronting Sheila since she returned unexpectedly (and full of fire!) from overseas, but that doesn’t mean she won’t find time to get into it with anyone else. What kind of long-time rival would she be if she didn’t go a round with Hope, who surely missed trading barbs?!
After dealing with Sheila, Steffy turns her attentions back to her family and work. Heading back to Forrester Creations, Steffy’s unaware that there are some shocks and surprises in store for her.
One, of course, is the devastating news that her grandfather is dying. She and Thomas will both be told in the coming days, but not before she unexpectedly discovers something else that’s been going on while she was away — something that will put her in Mama Bear mode — or more accurately, Big Sister Bear mode.
Apparently, during Steffy’s time overseas she had no one giving her the deets on the office gossip. Even her father and co-CEO Ridge didn’t keep her apprised of the latest goings-on. Considering Taylor popped home and wound up in the loop, it’s even weirder that her mother didn’t update Steffy when she rejoined her in Europe.
Yet, here we are. According to Bold & Beautiful spoilers, Steffy discovers the truth about Hope and Thomas’ relationship and it happens in the most eye-opening way possible.
Steffy happens upon Hope and Thomas in the design office. As viewers well know, the passionate twosome have a particular fondness for getting it on — and taking it all off — right there in Forrester Creations where they could quite easily be interrupted.
We’re guessing they were too caught up in their burning attraction this time around to remember to lock the door because Steffy will walk right in on them. There will be no mistaking what’s going on either as Thomas will be half-dressed and Hope disheveled.
Almost certainly knowing what’s coming, Thomas removes himself from the scene to let the girls do their thing. But Steffy’s in for another surprise on the heels of the shocking discovery that Thomas and Hope are involved in an intimate relationship — Hope’s adopted a new attitude along with her new shorter ‘do!
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood previewed that “things quickly get heated,” but that after being blasted by Steffy, Hope “gives as good as she gets and doesn’t back down”.
Wood teased that her alter-ego may not be as surprised by this as some would think given that she’s always thought “the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree.” Meaning, of course, that Hope is at long-last showing signs that her “true nature” is just like her mother Brooke’s.
