Alaskan Bush People’s Matt Brown has fans worried sick while on mountain vacation
Matt Brown rose to fame 20 years ago on Alaskan Bush People. While his siblings continued appearing on the show for many years, he hasn’t appeared on screen for around five years. The former reality TV star usually takes to social media to keep his fans up to date, using it as an accountability tool.
This May, the Discovery Channel star had many of his fans “worried” as he appeared absent from social media. Matt’s usual posts were nowhere to be seen. But, thankfully, a recent update from the 41-year-old Alaskan Bush People star confirms all is well.
Alaskan Bush People’s Matt Brown worries fans
After seemingly going silent on social media for around two weeks, Matt Brown has resurfaced with an apology.
Taking to Instagram this May, Matt said that his posts weren’t uploading while he was spending time in the mountains.
He said: “I just got back down from the mountain here… I wanted to apologize to everybody for making you worry about me.”
‘I’m very happy’
Matt left Alaskan Bush People to go to rehab for alcohol addiction. In 2019, People reported he: “…completed his second stint in rehab for alcohol abuse.”
Because of his battles with addiction, the question around Matt’s recent whereabouts had many fans concerned.
Providing his followers with a full update, Matt said he’s feeling good about life these days.
He said: “I’m doing good and everything, I’m very happy, I need to catch up with my friends, check in, and everything.”
He continued; “Thanks for being there, guys… Never give up, never surrender, because you’re worth it, you’re really important”
Matt concluded that the trip showed him how “important” it is to take time for himself.
Fans took to the comments section of his post to share their relief that he’s “OK.”
One said: “Don’t stay away so long next time Matt you had everyone worried about you. Glad to see you back.”
Another commented: “Welcome back, Matt, I was starting to get concerned. I’m glad you’re alright.”
