​Brad and Selina’s Surprise Return Leaves Everyone Speechless!

​Monday’s October 12, 2026 episode had more mind-boggling twists and turns than we expected. Adding to the flair, two fan-favorite characters returned after a long hiatus. They were none other than Lydia Look’s character, Selina Wu, and her nephew Parry Shen’s character, Brad Cooper. The duo rendered both Sonny Corinthos and Ric Lansing speechless.

​Selina’s character first entered the city’s turf as a mob boss who grew more powerful with each passing day. However, all her pride and power fell to dust when she had to leave the city. She last appeared on screen in July of 2025. The fandom might remember that she fled to Singapore to avoid Sonny Corinthos’s wrath after the fire that almost burned his daughter. As for Parry Shen, he has played Brad Cooper on and off for several years, starting in 2013. Brad Cooper last appeared on screen back in April of 2026.

​But now, they are back. The Monday episode of General Hospital was a real shocker because the aunt and nephew appeared together after such a long hiatus. During Sidwell’s asset auction, the duo walked in fearlessly into the Metro Court conference room. The Wu family had set their sights on the gleaming Port Charles waterfront property.

​Brad had avoided working for his aunt before. But this time, they share the same goal: taking over the Port Charles waterfront. At the auction, Sonny assured Selina that their past was “water under the bridge.” Now that Sonny has no issues with Selina, she may appear on the show more often.

​Although Ric questioned the legitimacy of their bid, she assured that it was fully legal. Referring to Sonny’s insistence on getting the piers, Selina remarked that perhaps he should “let the piers go to someone who can help them reach their full potential,” now that he had retired from the mob. However, Josslyn ultimately won the bid and secured the pier.

​General Hospital Comings and Goings delighted fans with this unexpected return.  With Brad Cooper and Selina Wu returning, especially after being offscreen for so long, fans are welcoming them with open arms.
