The conflict begins with Sonny taking Avery out of school for several days without first informing Ava. For Ava, the problem is bigger than a missed conversation. She sees Sonny making another major decision about their daughter without treating her as an equal parent.

Their next confrontation appears ready to turn the disagreement into a custody fight. Ava makes her position unmistakable when she tells Sonny, “I will fight you with everything I have.”

Given their complicated history, neither side is likely to surrender easily. What is really being tested here is control: who gets to make decisions for Avery, and how far either parent is prepared to go when cooperation breaks down.

Tracy Faces a New Challenge at the Quartermaine Mansion

Another territorial dispute is developing around Chase and his custody situation involving baby Phoebe.

Attorney Monae Mitchell is pushing for Chase to return to the Quartermaine property, apparently believing the move could strengthen his position. Tracy Quartermaine, however, does not seem interested in allowing an outsider to dictate what happens inside her family home.

Monae reportedly warns that she may escalate matters if Tracy refuses to cooperate. That could turn a custody strategy into a much broader power struggle.

Willow’s Advice to Chase Could Have Personal Consequences

Willow also encourages Chase to move back to the Quartermaine mansion, arguing that it could help his custody case.

The source, however, interprets their gym conversation as potentially more complicated than straightforward advice. Willow and Chase have romantic history, while Chase’s marriage to Brook Lynn is already under pressure.

Nothing in the script confirms that Willow is actively trying to seduce Chase, so that possibility remains interpretation rather than established fact. Still, placing the former couple back in closer proximity could create another emotional complication.

Sidwell Seeks Help as Jordan Confronts Justine

At Pentonville, Jen Sidwell is looking for someone who might help him secure his release. The identity of that person is not confirmed. Monae is presented as one possibility, while Alexis Davis is separately expected to meet with a potential new client.

Elsewhere, Jordan Ashford confronts ADA Justine Turner after seeing Justine and Sonny kissing behind the Brown Dog Bar.

Jordan warns that a relationship with Sonny could damage Justine’s ambitions to become district attorney. Justine appears to recognize the professional danger and intends to end the relationship, though whether she follows through remains unresolved.

Could Michael and Drew Unite Against Willow?

Perhaps the strangest development involves Michael Corinthos and Drew Cain.

Despite their long-running personal and business hostility, the two men are expected to sit down and discover some common ground. According to the script, that shared focus may involve Willow and the resentment both men now carry toward her.

An alliance between Michael and Drew would be fragile from the beginning. Their history gives them plenty of reasons to distrust each other, but Willow could temporarily give them a reason to cooperate.

That leaves Port Charles with two unlikely questions: can Sonny and Ava keep their fight from becoming an all-out custody war, and can Michael and Drew stay united long enough to make their next move against Willow?
