General Hospital (GH) breaking news reveals that there’s more comings and goings to report from the ABC soap. The show’s clearly been making some behind-the-scenes shakeups thanks to some new cast additions as well as some returning characters.

SOD confirms there’ll be two more familiar faces back on-screen sometime in July.

That’s because Quinn (Jequan Jackson) and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) will both score some airtime next month.

If Quinn’s name doesn’t ring a bell, we’ve got a refresher for you.

Quinn first appeared back in November 2024 and was revealed to be one of Kai Taylor’s (Sawandi Wilson) football teammates.

Jequan Jackson was a recurring player who appeared until February 2025, which is when Quinn last popped up before falling off the map.

GH fans may recall that Quinn blew up at Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) over Kai’s injury and tried to act like she was to blame for Kai losing his concentration and football career.

There’s no word yet on why Quinn will get back in the action this summer, but it’s probably safe to assume he’ll be sharing scenes with Kai, Trina or both.

Of course, Marshall is someone much more familiar to viewers by now since he’s Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) father and Trina’s grandfather.

Curtis could certainly use some guidance from Marshall right about now since he’s been spiraling out of control over all his Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) accusations.

Perhaps Marshall will dish out some tough love and help Curtis see that he’s the real problem here.

Curtis is making impulsive moves and refusing to take responsibility for his actions, so Marshall may have a problem with his son’s behavior and how it’s affecting Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).

Marshall may also have a chance to meet his new grandbaby once Portia delivers her bundle of joy.

Since Marshall hasn’t been seen in Port Charles since December 2025, it’ll be great to see Robert Gossett back in the role.

General Hospital spoilers say Marshall will no doubt have a few things to say about Curtis’ arrest and any upcoming trial drama, so stay tuned.
