Cameron Spends Time With Someone Special
On Thursday, the real-life Drew Cain, who currently sits at the center of a shooting storyline on the daytime drama, took to his Instagram account. There, he shared a photo of himself with a loved one. And, it was none other than his dad, Bill Mathison. His mom couldn’t be with him as she unfortunately passed away from brain cancer in 2021.
The two men looked so happy to be with each other. And in his caption, the General Hospital star confirmed it. He wrote:
Florida birthday week with my dad — golf, beach, gym, and some dad stories:) So happy he’s so happy.
Well, it wasn’t Cameron Mathison’s birthday, as he was born in August, so fans assumed it was his dad’s. Naturally, plenty of comments arrived because, despite many fans despising his character, most people like the person who acts the unpopular role.

In the podcast, while talking about his life, he mentioned his mom passing away and Budig got a bit tearful about that. So, it is special, indeed, that his dad, Bill can still spend time with his famous son.
